Rhodochrosite is a personal favorite of mine. This is a really nice quality gemmy Rhodochrosite that comes from Peru. The deep tone of this Rhodochrosite has a colour not found often in the natural world. It might best be described as a deep salmon or coral red colour. Rhodochrosite has another very special quality that is also rare to see. It deepens in its tone when held or even when in our presence. Ruby is another stone that has this quality. This sensitive nature gives us an insight into its energetic quality ... its personality, if you will. Rhodochrosite is a stone of love ... of inner love ... of self love. It is a stone for our inner child. It is a stone whose energy of love and support can greatly benefit us in our time of rapid shifts and transformations.
