Kambaba Jasper's Song of Spring

I woke up on the morning of the Spring Equinox hearing this song playing in my head...Bless the Broken Road by Rascal Flats. The Kambaba Jasper Trio who had been sitting at my bedside as I slept were singing. I scooped them up in my hand and listened. This is what they whispered...

Song of Spring

Things happen in your life that shake things up—that take you in a different direction and even things that leave you broken:

• broken heart, broken from loss or betrayal;

• broken body from illness or injury;

• broken mind from a shattered belief from an event that has you questioning all that you knew to be true.

Sometimes it’s small things that cause you to veer off the path. Like a power failure that keeps you from a meeting. Or a chance encounter at the grocery store with an old acquaintance who has news of a job that is about to change your life.

When these happenstances lead you to joyful changes, you call them synchronicities. When the fork in the road takes you to something uncomfortable or painful, you call it karma or a dark night of the soul and you wonder what you did wrong to deserve this punishment.

Sometimes you get to find out the reason for the sudden change. But often you remain in the dark.

The Universe is created by a grand, elaborate, elegant design and the mind cannot see the whole story. Sometimes when these detours happen, they cannot be understood without knowing the whole story.

Sometimes though the answers are shown to you. In that case, knowing the reason for the course change is important to your story. Even then there are limits to what you are allowed to see and know because it is possible to receive too much information.

If you can come into a place of trust—that you are being guided in each step along the road, then the path becomes easier to travel—even when you don’t like what’s next.

Each time you allow yourself to go deeper into trust, another veil is lifted and you can see a little clearer. It is like opening your eyes after an epiphany and the whole world looks different—clearer, more beautiful. Even the colours change. It’s like a layer of fog has lifted and you can see clearer and farther.

To see with this depth of trust, you must trust what you see.

In other words, you must shift your perspective and open up to a different point of view on life. You must entertain the idea that all things are part of the Divine plan and you are not being punished but guided.

And you must open your eyes when the world is trying to show you something.

For as much as you can’t know about all of the wonders of existence, there is so much the universe wants you to see.

Receiving takes practice

It took years and a deep inner trust for me to get to the point where I was comfortable knowing that the whispers of the crystals were real. Then it took just as long before I was able to share the songs openly with others. I still hesitate before sharing...every single time!

You don't have to do it alone

I know that if I had guidance and a community to practice with, I would have come to that place of trust much sooner. So I offer that guidance and space to people in the Song of Stones community for free once a month.

If you are wanting to hear the song of stones and deepen your trust in the messages that you receive from your higher guidance, you are invited to join us in our practice of listening for personal messages from the crystals.
